Betta Electrical provides a nationwide delivery service.
Usually, we can arrange delivery of your new appliance within 3-7 working days, often sooner. Some areas within New Zealand and rural deliveries may take up to 10 working days.
Delivery timeframes vary depending on location in New Zealand. Please allow for extra time if you are at a rural address.
All deliveries outside of our Betta Electrical store local zones are through contracted delivery companies. As we operate a drop ship model from most of our suppliers, all orders/deliveries are subject to stock availability.
We deliver to customers Monday to Friday and up to 5pm. Our delivery fees for purchases made from our website are based on the most competitive rates we have from our delivery partners.
Please note that all orders placed on the weekend will be processed on Monday morning.

Unfortunately we are not able to deliver to post boxes. If we deem your order or anything relating to your order suspicious, we will postpone the delivery until we can confirm all relevant details.
There are some conditions we ask you consider relating to the delivery of your new appliance.
- Our delivery partners are contracted to deliver your new appliance to your property. Usually, they will help to deliver the appliance to a garage or easy to get to door or entrance way. Our delivery partners will not install your new appliance, unpack your appliance from its protective packaging or help you lift it upstairs, unless you have organised delivery and installation in advance.
- Please provide with your order a daytime contact telephone number so the freight company can call you before they attempt delivery. A mobile number is best.
- If our delivery partners attempt a delivery to your home and you are not home or for whatever reason the delivery cannot be completed, we may charge you an additional delivery fee to deliver your appliance.
- If you reject the delivery attempt by telling our delivery partners that you will not accept the delivery/appliance for whatever reason, we have the right to charge you for the delivery fee, a second delivery fee if we have to redeliver another time and a restocking fee.
In many areas across New Zealand, we can offer installations for selected brands. Should an installer agree to assist in disconnecting and removing an appliance, it is done on the strict understanding that the customer accepts full responsibility for all and any damage that may result to either the premises or the appliance.
Where a new appliance is to be connected to a water supply, the installer must have easy access to the plumbing and connection will only be made to existing plumbing. Our installers will check the appliance but will not be held responsible for any water leakage that may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.
On occasion, the installer may be asked to deliver an appliance through a restricted or risky area including narrow entrances and hallways, across soft wooded or covered floor and tight turning staircases. All care will be taken but on the understanding that the customer accepts full responsibility for all and any damage that may result to either the premises or the appliance.

For online orders placed before December 16th we will endeavour to have the product delivered prior to Christmas (subject to stock availability). Orders placed between December 16th – December 23rd will be processed for dispatch as soon as they are received, however pre-Christmas delivery cannot be guaranteed.
