Products and Services

Q: Do you offer product warranties?

A: Yes, all our products come with manufacturer warranties. The length and terms of the warranty vary depending on the product and the brand. Please refer to the product details for specific warranty information.

 

Q: Do you offer returns?

A: If you purchase online and want to return the product you bought, we will only agree to do this after consultation with you – and provided we feel there is a valid reason for processing a refund or exchange. Simply changing your mind is not a valid reason. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for further information.

 

Q: Do you offer price matching?

A: Yes, we can offer a price match on certain products. Please contact us for more details on specific price matching queries.

 

Orders and Delivery

Q: How do I track my order?

A: Once you receive confirmation via email that your order has been dispatched, you should receive a tracking number or please reach out to our customer service team at info@bettaelectrical.co.nz and we can provide you with a tracking number to use on the courier’s website.

 

Q: What are your delivery options?

A: Delivery fees and times vary based on your location and the size of your order. For detailed information, please visit our Shipping page.

 

Q: Can I change or cancel my order?

A: If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been processed or dispatched, we cannot make changes or cancellations.

 

Repairs and Support

Q: Do you offer installation services?

A: Most Betta Electrical stores off full delivery and installation services, to customers that live within there area, so please do check our list of stores and if you have a store close by, please call them to discuss.

If you are in Auckland,  we have a more limited service available. We do offer installation of Haier and Fisher & Paykel dishwashers and freestanding refrigerators purchased through Betta Electrical. When purchasing online, you can add Item 2020201 to your cart for dishwasher installation and Item 2020202 to your cart for freestanding refrigeration installation.

 

Q: Do you offer old appliance removal?

A: Many Betta Electrical stores will provide this service when you have purchased a new appliance through them, and this needs to be discussed and arrange with your local store. In the Auckland area,  we do offer old appliance removal when taking the delivery of a Haier or Fisher & Paykel new appliance for a small charge. When purchasing online, you can add Item 2020205 to your cart to buy this service. 

 

Q: Do you offer repair services?

A: Many Betta Electrical stores will provide repair services and are happy to repair or service your existing appliances, please call your local store to see if this is a service they offer, and to book a call out.  We can offer repair services for select appliances purchased from Betta Electrical. For repair inquiries, please contact our customer service team with your product details and issue.

 

Q: How can I get technical support for my product?

A: For technical support, you can refer to the user manual that came with your product, do a google search to find the on-line manual or visit the manufacturer’s website. If you need further assistance, our customer service team is here to help.

 

Q: What should I do if my appliance is faulty?

A: If your appliance is faulty, please contact us immediately. We will guide you through the process of getting your appliance repaired or replaced under warranty.

 

Q: What should I do if my appliance breaks down?

A: Most of the items we sell have a warranty between 1-2 years, and for some items it can be even longer. If your appliance breaks down, we recommend that you directly contact the manufacturer to get assistance, and if you need any further help do reach out to our customer service team at info@bettaelectrical.co.nz
