HOW TO ENTER:
(a) To be eligible to enter, subject to the Terms and Conditions stipulated herein, entrants must purchase an eligible FoodSaver® Product $50 or over (“Eligible FoodSaver® Product”) from Participating Retailers nationally (“Participating Retailers”) during the purchase period February 01, 2024 to June 15, 2024 (“Purchase Period”) and submit a valid entry form to the Promoter as detailed below ("Qualifying Purchase"). Final entry forms must be received online by 23.59pm NZST on June 26, 2024 (“Entry Period”). All times throughout the Terms and Conditions are based on New Zealand local time, which is New Zealand Standard Time (“NZST”)
(b) To enter, entrants must take each of the following steps. All items must be completed in order for an entry to be valid:
(i) Purchase any Eligible FoodSaver® Product from a Participating Retailer during the Purchase Period; and then
(ii) Complete the online entry form at www.foodsaver.co.nz/win24 in full.
(iii) Submit the completed entry form online during the Entry Period.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Promoter: The Promoter is Newell New Zealand Ltd (NZBN 9429039123664) of 15 Te Tiki Road, Mangere, Auckland 2022.
2. Terms: Information on how to enter this promotion in connection with the purchase of an Eligible FoodSaver® Product forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation/entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
3. Purchase Period: Promotion commences on February 01, 2024 and ends for purchases at close of business on June 15, 2024. An Eligible Product must be purchased within the Purchase Period to entitle the entrants to enter.
4. Entry Period: Final entry forms must be received online by 23.59 NZST on June 26, 2024.
5. Eligible FoodSaver® Product:
(i) The offer only applies to the Eligible FoodSaver® Product described under "How to Enter" above.
(ii) Eligible FoodSaver® Product include all those with a purchase value of $50 or more.
(iii) An Eligible FoodSaver® Product must be purchased at a Participating Retailer in New Zealand. The Promoter does not guarantee that each retailer will stock the Eligible FoodSaver® Products during the Purchase Period. We suggest you contact the retailers to ensure the products you wish to buy are available.
6. Eligibility and Entry Conditions:
(i) Claims are only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.
(ii) Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to claim. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
(iii) Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per Qualifying Purchase; and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.
(iv) Entrants must retain either their original OR a proper copy of their purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the Purchase Period but prior to entry.
(v) Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
(vi) The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
(i) Prize includes: Each one (1) of the five winners will win a gift card to the value of $500 NZD each. The usage of the gift card shall comply with its requirement.
(ii) Each winner will be able to choose one (1) gift card, and the gift cards will be provided by the following retailers:

(iii) One draw will take place each month from February 2024 to June 2024. The winners will be notified by telephone and email within two (2) business days of the draw.
(iv) There are five prizes (with total prize valued at $2,500 NZD).
(v) The winners understand and agrees that all other costs associated with these gift cards except for the provided prize, are the responsibility of the winner.
(vi) Entrants must ensure that all personal details provided are correct. The Promoter will not be responsible for the disconnected telephone number, email rejecting or any damages or costs attributable to failure of identifying the winner.
(vii) It is a condition of the prize being awarded to the winner that the winner provides to the Promoter an Original or proper copy of their receipt as proof of a valid purchase to enter this promotion.
(viii) The prize, or any unused portion of a prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and not redeemable for cash, unless otherwise specified in written in advance by the Promoter. The Promoter’s decision in relation to all aspects of this promotion is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into.
(ix) If for any reason the winner does not take / redeem the prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited automatically.
(x) If the winner of a prize is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to winner’s parent or legal guardian, on the winner’s behalf.
(i) In the event that the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the various lottery authorities.
(ii) The Promoter reserves the right, at any time to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. (iii) Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including, without limitation to, photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
(iv) The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant regulatory authorities) modify the promotion.
(v) If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
(vi) Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
(vii) Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or similar consumer protection laws in New Zealand. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
(viii) Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) taking/use of and/or participation in a prize.
10. Changes to these Terms and Conditions: The Promotor may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
11. New Zealand law: The promotion and these Terms and Conditions are governed by New Zealand law.
