Q: What credit cards can I use to purchase an appliance from your website?
A: We accept Visa and MasterCard.
Q: Are the products listed on your website covered by warranty?
A: All products sold from our website are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
Q: What is the difference between a Plasma screen and an LCD screen?
A: The main difference between plasma and LCD is how the pixels are lit up. In plasma screens, plasma gas is used to excite visible light photons, which produce colour on the screen through the lighting of the pixels into different colours. Thus, it is actually a gas that is responsible for the images you see on a plasma screen. LCD screens are quite different. In an LCD screen each pixel has three colours: red, green and blue and require a backlight to provide screen brightness. However, the liquid crystals, when energized, block certain colours in the pixels from showing, or at least showing as much. This produces the desired colour. The other main difference with LCD televisions is the backlight is always on.
Q: Am I able to collect my online purchase from a Betta Electrical store?
A: In some cases you will be able to however if you are located in a region of New Zealand where there is no Betta Electrical store it may be more economical to have us deliver you product than you driving to the nearest store. Please check where your nearest store is before choosing this option.
Q: Can I finance my new appliance purchase?
A: Currently we are not able to offer this option from our website, but we hope to be able to do this soon. We may be able to help you with finance manually so please contact us by telephone or by email.
Q: Do you offer an installation service if I buy a new oven?
A: We can arrange installation of an electrician or gas installer on your behalf, so please contact us by telephone or email.
